Philipp Kettern has had a slightly tough year in the vineyards of the Mosel. Mixed weather throughout the growing season has meant close attention was required, and avoiding rain was the main decision regarding when to harvest.
Luckily, a dry, warm, and sunny spell arrived just in time and the harvest went very well, if a little short and frantic. Philipp is really happy with quality, and the wines are looking great in tank and barrel so far. Through stringent selection, quantities are quite low though.
