We are a small, family-owned, exploring and enquiring importer.

Our longstanding and deep specialism is Portugal, rooted in our founder Raymond’s birthplace. For over 35 years our profound belief continues to be that this small Atlantic-facing country has so much quality, diversity, and enjoyment to offer in its wines.

Vines and imagination know no borders though, so our scope reaches beyond Portugal’s treasure trove of vines and its dynamic wine scene. Ideas and inspiration travel.

The world of family-owned-and-run small wineries is a beautiful, sharing, and collaborative community which we are happy to be part of and contributing to.

In our portfolio you will meet this community. The wines you will discover connect you to the places and their people, where you will learn what makes them do what they do, how they tend their vineyards with the love they invest in their projects.

All our wines are made by growers/winemakers who value provenance, where vineyard and land husbandry is respectful and holistic in scope. From soil to bottle, an approach based on profound understanding, the skill of simple winemaking, observation, imagination, intuition and feeling. They have soul, intonation and rhythm.

So many of our wineries too are giving new life and purpose to the communities that surround them, to share the good and the hope that comes from working together.
