Searching for freshness and elegance, the Altitude wines are a blend of grapes exclusively from community vineyards at more than 450m elevation. The vineyards  span all the Douro sub-regions, and are brought together at LDF's Quinta do Medronheiro winery.

The red has a nose of the Douro, plummy fruit with cherry and dark berries, with a hint of liquorice and violet florals. The palate is more fresh and vibrant than one might expect, very drinkable and good with or without food.
