Grape Varieties: Tinta Grossa
Among the many talha, some seem to be better than others. This can be due to a range of potential factors, often the size, thickness, age, and quality of clay, but also sometimes, position in the winery, suitability to red or white, or even a grape variety.
Talha XV is one of those that suits reds, and the wines made are bottled alone. The resulting wines are softer, more rounded, retain concentration and depth of flavour. Thay have complexity and balance and are often the most age-worthy.
