A very rare and unique grape of Lisboa!

One of the varieties used in Carcavelos, in the South of the Lisboa region, Galego Dourado thrives with Atlantic influence, and brings structure and texture to any wine. Weight and intensity are balanced superbly with acidty and salinity. MInerality is enhanced with careful barrel ageing. A very classy and sophisticated white, hugely versatile with food and can withstand strong flavours, but particularly good with mature cheeses.
