Grape Varieties Touriga Nacional

A single parcel of Touriga Nacional, on schist, that was so pure in it's identity that Miguel deemed it too good to be aged in barrel, nor blended with anything else! The wine was kept in stainless steel for a year before bottling.

This is one of the best examples of Alentejo Touriga Nacional. Bursting with perfectly ripe cherry, plum, and blueberry fruit, lovely violet florals. There's a touch of classic inkiness, with juiciness and flesh around a core of soft tannin and great acidic structure. A bold wine with elegance, it has a huge drinking window should you wish to cellar it further.
