Grape Varieties Verdelho

A very special, single-vineyard AND Single Cask wine. The grapes come from a single vineyard on the North of the island, in Sao Vincente, which is key to this wine's acidity. Ricardo and the owner, Sr. Agostinho Andrade Junior, have had an important trading relationship since 1994.

The wine was aged in Cask 13 in warehouse E, using the traditional canteiro method, and bottled after 16 years ageing (February 2023). Only 924 bottles were produced from the single barrel. Hints of candied fruit, orange blossom and quince. Smooth structure with silky edges and a delicate flavor of sultanas and ripe yellow fruit.
