Grape Varieties Verdelho

The Ribeiro Real estate, of the Viera family, are one of Barbeito's partners in wine. From the Ribeira Real project Verdelho and Tinta Negra wines from the 1950's were paired with 2 Verdelho wines from 1994 and 1995 from Barbeito. A lot of the wines originally came from the Prazares zone of vineyards, on the South-West side of the island.

Dried stonefruit, still with citrus vibrancy, mixed with salted caramel, lightly toasty almonds and light spices. Wonderfully complex, balanced, and long.
