Grape Varieties Castelao

An experimental mix of tradition and modernity! This 100% castelao was made by removing a little of the juice quite early in the fermentation, in order to concentrate the remaining must and extraction. To soften everything, the wine was aged for 14 months in barrel.

The resulting wine is concentrated, with lots of depth and intesity of fruit. It retains it's sappy and vibrant Castelao character and freshness through the palate.
