Grape Varieties Touriga Franca, Touriga Naçional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca & Others
The first release of the Colheita, the 1999, comes from the very first fortified wines made at the estate after the family regained ownership, from their oldest and best vineyards.
Great aromatic complexity, with notes of dried fruit, orange peel, spices, coffee, and fine cedar. The palate presents an enveloping and elegant texture, balancing concentration, freshness, and persistence. The finish is long, precise, and marked by the typical depth of great Colheita wines aged slowly in barrels.
A rare and iconic wine, a piece of Douro history.
