Quinta do Mouro describe this wine as being "made in the same way as the red wines". During the pressing of a parcel of white grapes, in the 2014 vintage, the press broke down. This meant that the grapes spent time part crushed on their skins. This resulted in a small amount of skin maceration and oxidation. Miguel Louro quite liked the resulting wine and decided to try to recreate it in 2015 (though with more control and intent this time!).
