Grape Varieties Baga

A single vineyard expression fo Baga from one of Luis Pato main family properties, Quinta do Ribeirinho. Only possible due to the sandy soils, the Baga vines were planted in 1988 with their own, native rootstock, ungrafted, or Pe Franco, in Portuguese.

The wine is an homage to the grape. The vineyard is managed to only produce 1 perfect bunch of grapes per vine! 2 years ageing in new french barriques results in a concentrated and complex wine meant for cellaring and mature drinking.
