Grape Varieties Bastardo

The next iteration in Ricardo's quest to honour and resurrect the almost forgotten Bastardo variety. This wine is again a blend of three separate base wines, from different vintages: 2007, 2009, and 2011. Each was made using varying winemaking methods, such as skin contact and volume of barrels for ageing. The age of the wines and the complexity of the resultant blend enabled this to be designated as a Reserva Especial wine.
