100% cask-aged Tinta Negra from an extraordinary single vineyard in Estreito de Camara de Lobos. The Single Harvest releases always get at least 10 years ageing by the Canteiro method in seasoned, French oak. Medium dry. If ever a wine could demonstrate that Tinta Negra, from the right site, and treated 'nobly', can make great Madeira, here it is. 

"Mid orangey gold. Deeply complex aroma of lapsang tea and bitter orange/apricot fruit. Dried fruits and nutty but not sweet-smelling. Very special wine. A cross between wine and madeira.
